Investec’s head of legal for its fund solutions business has been appointed to the fund finance executive committee of the Loan Market Association (LMA).
In his new role, which he will hold alongside his existing position at Investec, Alan Macdonald (pictured) will help to oversee the LMA’s fund finance strategy in line with the LMA’s objectives of enhancing efficiency, liquidity and transparency in the loan markets.

The LMA is an industry body that aims to improve liquidity, efficiency and transparency in the primary and secondary loan markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
It works with lenders, law firms, borrowers and regulators to educate the market about the benefits of the loan product, and to remove barriers to entry for new participants.
